My parents were musicians in
the Oradea Orchestra in Romania. My father was principal flutist and mother
was 2nd Viola 1st chair. I started piano lessons when I was 5. In 1978, at
the age of 10, we moved to Austria and I was accepted into the Vienna Boys
Choir. I was also taught composition by composer Eddo Altman.
At the age of 12 my family and I moved to Pittsburgh, PA in the US. I
started taking trumpet lessons and got involved in Jazz. Through high school
I was a member of the All City Band and Orchestra, first chair for 3 years
and principal trumpet for both the Band and Orchestra my senior year.
After taking a year off, I got a scholarship to Duquesne University as a
classical piano major with a voice minor.

I started getting involved in rock bands and went through a
few as keyboard player before becoming singer/songwriter/front man for a
local band called "Big Bad Wolf". We did the club circuit and I ended up
quitting college.
In 1992 we were asked by "U.S. Rocker" magazine to be on
their compilation CD, which we agreed to. In 1993 we signed with an
independent label from Cleveland and I broke my back the same night, there
fore nullifying the deal.
I spent the next 7 years just writing music. With the help
of OVR (Office of Vocational Rehabilitation) and Curt Bucher, I got the
funding to get some of the equipment I needed for my brother (Csaba) and I
to perform again, but this time as a 2-man show. It was wild. Just 2 of us
sounding as big as a 200 piece orchestra. Amazing how much technology has
evolved. In 2001 we made a CD called "The Many
Faces of Mr. DOMOS" and went to Minneapolis to perform in
front of about 7,000 people. In the last few years I've turned my attention
to writing music, scoring anything from movies, documentaries, instructional
videos, etc. I've included some samples of my recent work in the "FREE
Tunes!" section. I'm willing to do any type of work
involving music. I charge a very reasonable fee, and I never use the same
music in two jobs. When I score a piece of film, it's always original for
that job. As I said... if you need music specially written for any project
or occasion, I'm your guy. Any more questions?
